Here you will find a more in depth look at some of the quilt patterns and quilting products that you'll find on my website. This will give you more insight and info from just a basic product description. Sometimes I will be showing you a specific technique used in a pattern and sometimes it will be to show how to use a product. Either way I hope you will find it informative, inspiring, and helpful.
"Tea-lightful" idea
This dainty table topper is a delight to make.
The Tea-lightful pattern includes the full size paper foundations and thorough instructions for paper-piecing the cups and saucers.
Choose a variety of dainty prints and solids for the teacups and saucers. Make it sweet or make it bold. I also have fabric kits available that contain 1930's style fabrics for the cups with coordinating solids for the saucers and the pink border. You just have to add the white fabrics and the batting. Push-button Prints CD ROM ~

Print on fabric for quilting and fiber arts or print on paper or card stock for paper crafts.

Featured project ~ Travel lightly Tote
If you're like me, and most of my quilting friends, when you go to classes, workshops or retreats you're going to take along your OTT-LITE.
This pattern features a fabulous little tote so you can carry your light around easily and fashionably too!
It's a real favorite and it's a lot of fun to make.
When you're not carrying your light, use it to carry a lunch or even a bottle of wine.
There are no zippers to install and there is an idea page included to give you inspiration for decorating and personalizing your tote. You can piece the pockets with string piecing (pattern included), or do some simple embroidery stitching (one design included) You could make a crazy patch pocket or even add some beading. The possibilities are almost endless. You can make it with the short handle (shown) or with the longer shoulder strap option.
One of my friends made her tote out of Dupioni silk - it's gorgeous and because it doesn't use a lot of yardage you can use some specialty fabrics. You only need 5/8 yd. for the main body of the tote and 3/8 yd. for accent. The lining is 1/2 yd.
The pattern includes the instructions how to quilt the panels, an easy lining technique and everything is well illustrated.
There's plenty of time to make one for yourself and one as a gift for a friend.
I know I would be tickled to get something handmade for Christmas.
